This Elementary Art course will guide your young genius through twelve engaging art projects and will teach about some of history’s greatest artists along the way! Michelangelo, Van Gogh, Rembrandt . . . they’re all here. After that, the course will guide your student in creating self-portraits. Clear some space, because you’re about to have an abundance of masterpieces to display!


Elementary Art is a twenty-two week homeschool course presented to first through fourth graders.

This homeschool art history curriculum helps students learn to group paintings or other artwork by style, subject, or artist and introduces several different careers in the field of art. Discovering Art History first teaches students about various styles and artists and then offers the opportunity for homeschool students to practice each style learned. Numerous art-related books available through many libraries are also suggested to enhance learning.

Discovering Art History is a nine-week homeschool course presented to fourth and fifth graders.
